Hivve Wholesale Referrals Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely! We encourage you to invite brands as well as retailers to join you on Hivve. Your recommendations help us build a vibrant community.

To refer a brand:

1. Click on the "Referrals" tab in the menu bar.
2. Fill out the form to create a referral link specifically for the brand or retailer you want to refer.
3. Share your referral link: Copy your referral link and share it with the brand or retailer you want to refer.

Follow these best practices:

1. Obtain consent before sending referral emails.
2. Craft relevant communications tailored to the recipient.
3. Ensure your communications are wanted and warranted.
4. Ensure the brand or retailer joins via your referral link.

Referral rewards work differently for brands and retailers:

I'm a Brand making referrals:

• Brands referring brands:
  • For each successfully referred brand, you’ll be eligible to receive 10% cash back on the value of your next sale with Hivve. Referral program terms apply.
• Brands referring retailers:
  • For each successfully referred retailer to whom you have not previously sold your products, you’ll be eligible to receive 10% cash back on the value of their first purchase with Hivve. Referral program terms apply.
  • If you successfully refer a retailer to whom you've previously sold your products outside of Hivve, you'll receive a reduction in commission fees to 6.5%. Please note, we still charge 6.5% commission to cover financial transaction and administration costs. This reduced commission rate of 6.5% will apply for all future sales to this retailer. Documentation confirming prior sales is required, such as invoices containing both the retailer's and your brand's details.

I'm a Retailer making referrals:

• Retailers referring brands:
  • For each successfully referred brand, you receive R150 in credit to shop with on Hivve.
• Retailers referring retailers:
  • For each successfully referred retailer, you receive R250 in credit to shop with on Hivve.

As a welcome offer for new retailers, upon successful registration, you'll receive a ZAR500 credit, which will be applied towards your purchases on Hivve.

Your credit will automatically be applied to your Hivve purchases when you seccefully sign on as a retail buyer.

The partial application of your credit towards an order is due to our policy on maximum credit usage:

There is a maximum limit on the amount of credit that can be applied to each order.

Currently, all reward and referral credits granted to retailers can cover up to a maximum of 30% of the total order value for any purchase made on Hivve. Any remaining credits will be automatically rolled over to your subsequent orders.
