Hivve Retailer FAQ

Hivve Wholesale Frequently Asked Questions From Retailers

There are no membership fees to join Hivve. Retailers pay only the wholesale price of products, applicable VAT (if charged by the brand), and shipping. Shipping costs are shown at checkout or invoiced separately if unknown at the time of order.

Hivve is not VAT registered, but many brands are. VAT is applied and invoiced by VAT-registered brands, clearly shown on invoices and at checkout. Both VAT-inclusive and VAT-exclusive prices are displayed where applicable.

Hivve recommends that retailers purchase and hold stock upfront to ensure product availability and faster fulfillment. Dropshipping is at the retailer’s discretion, but Hivve cannot guarantee product availability in the event of a stockout.

Minimums vary by brand. Some use minimum order quantities (MOQs), some use minimum order values (MOVs), and some have no minimums. Requirements are clearly displayed on product pages.

Complete the retailer onboarding form at hivve.co.za/retailer_onboard. Once verified, you’ll have full access to wholesale pricing and ordering.

Browse products, add items to your cart, and checkout. All orders must go through Hivve. Buying directly from brands you discover on Hivve violates the retailer terms.

Hivve’s checkout is powered by Peach Payments, which provides PCI‑DSS Level 1 security for all transactions. Retailers can pay via instant EFT or credit/debit cards, and Hivve recently added a Buy Now, Pay Later option through ZeroPay, allowing retailers to split purchases into three interest‑free instalments. Additional digital and mobile payment methods (such as wallet- or QR‑based payments) are offered through Peach Payments and may be selected at checkout.

Shipping costs are based on weight and origin and added to your invoice. If shipping costs aren’t known at checkout, we provide an invoice with shipping within 24 hours of order invoice request. Hivve notifies you when items ship and provides a tracking number.

Returns are accepted within 14 days for refunds or store credit. For brands you’re ordering from for the first time, you can return within 30 days for store credit (up to R10,000 per month). Items must be unused and in original packaging.

Hivve emails a tracking number when your order is dispatched. Tracking details are also visible in your Retailer Account dashboard.
